Orbital have released a new track, 'Are You Alive?' Listen to it below.

Featuring brother and sister act Lily and Jack Wolter, aka Penelope Isles, the track is the third single to be taken from the UK electronic legends' forthcoming tenth studio album 'Optical Delusion'.

Announced in October last year, the follow-up to 2018's 'Monsters Exist' features new productions by the duo, as well as contributions from Anna B Savage, The Little Pest, Dina Ipavic, Coppe, and Sleaford Mods.

Speaking about their latest collaboration, the pair's Paul Hartnoll said: "Are You Alive came about when I had the instrumental and felt it could do with a delicate vocal," Paul continues. "Enter Penelope Isles! They're our studio mates, they work upstairs. And they've both got amazing voices"

"They took it away and Lily came up with some killer hooks, we spent a day rearranging the song and Hey Presto! Are You Alive was born. But don't be fooled by the sweetness of the sound, the lyrics have some bite. It's a dog-eat-dog world...”

Following the release of the album, the Kent-raised, Brighton-based duo set off on their Optical Delusion Tour in March, with a Dublin date on 17th March, and finishing up in Brighton on 8th April, taking in dates in Glasgow (28th March), London (1st April), and others. See the full list of dates below.

Back in December, Orbital shared 'Ringa Ringa (The Old Pandemic Folk Song)'. Featuring vocals from The Mediæval Bæbes, it's the second song to be unveiled from 'Optical Delusion', following the Sleaford Mods-featuring lead single 'Dirty Rat'.

'Optical Delusion' follows the duo's '30 Something' retrospective LP, which was released earlier this year to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The album included a number of remixes of their past tracks, by producers including Logic1000, Shanti Celeste, Dusky, ANNA, Jon Hopkins and Joris Voorn.
