Or:la and Amaliah release Beyoncé and Missy Elliott edits in aid of Black Trans Foundation: Listen

Or:la and Amaliah have teamed up on a new Y2K-inspired single of Beyoncé and Missy Elliot edits. Listen to the club-ready reworks below.

Out now on Amaliah's own label, Borne Fruits, 'Y2SLAY' is an ode to the producers' influences. Or:la takes on Beyoncé's song 'Me, Myself and I', while Amaliah puts her spin on Missy Elliot's hit 'Pass That Dutch', both originally released in 2003.

The two first met playing an impromptu back-to-back at an Adonis party at The Cause's now-closed London venue. They've continued booking joint sets, releasing this EP just ahead of their Waterworks 2022 back-to-back this past weekend.

Proceeds from the edits pack will be donated to the Black Trans Foundation, a UK non-profit fighting for the social advancement, healthcare access and fair opportunities for Black trans and gender-nonconforming people in the UK.

DJ Mag recently went record shopping with Or:la as part of the Crate Digging video series — watch that here. Plus, revisit Katherine Rodgers' interview with the Irish producer and label boss from January this year.

Check out 'Y2SLAY' on Bandcamp and listen to the edits.
