Ouri shares new single, ‘Twin’: Listen

The Montréal artist drops the track ahead of touring North America with Yaeji in May

Ouri has shared a new single, 'Twin'. Listen to it below.

The France-raised, Montréal-based DJ producer and multi-instrumentalist – who previously featured in DJ Mag emerging artists round-up – has dropped the track ahead of supporting Yaeji on a North American tour this May.

Speaking about the track, Ouri said: "I was driving everyday, screaming/singing in the car my new song to my love, while listening to Vegyn & Danny L Harle's 'Britnaeys new baby'. To the point where I couldn’t imagine the song without the sample."

Confronting the subject of curiosity over a lover's past, 'Twin' two years after Ouri's acclaimed, Polaris Music Prize-shortlisted debut album 'Frame of a Fauna,' as well as 'Hildegard', a collaborative project with Helena Deland.

Five months later, Ouri was among several acts to feature on fellow Montréal producer DJ Honeydrip's 'Anti-Ego' remix EP.

In June last year, Ouri received a DJ Mag Best of North America nomination for Best Remix/Edit for 'High & Choking' (Jacques Greene Remix).
