Software company Output Sounds and high-end speaker crew Barefoot Sound have teamed up on a new monitor range. Costing $699 per speaker, and available from summer 2020, the new speakers will feature 6.5-inch concentric drivers and a fetching wooden case. That's about all we know so far, but given Output's quality products to date and Barefoot's reputation for high-end speakers, we're expecting them to make a splash when they land later in the year. At $699 each, it's a good chance to own a slice of Barefoot for cheaper than ever.
Other studio news out of NAMM includes Korg's new synth – the Wavestate.
