The team behind Rex Club is celebrating 35 years of its leading Parisian techno club with a new photobook.

Titled Rex Club 1988-2023, the 496-page book contains black-and-white images of DJs, ravers and other acts from across the venue's history. Also published are images of fliers and items left behind in the club.

It was compiled by the club's artistic director Antoine Molkhou, with sponsorship support from Red Bull and Carhartt.

Rex Club opened in 1988 as acid house was gathering steam. DJs from France and beyond have performed at the venue, which soon became a hub for techno in the French capital.

At the weekend it closed for renovations and is expected to reopen this autumn.

Rex Club 1988-2023 is available to buy from Oddity Paris (priced at €35).
