Paul van Dyk announces new album, ‘Guiding Light’, and tour

The release will be the trance legend's 10th studio album

Paul van Dyk will release a new album in 2020.

His first studio album since the release of 'Music Rescues Me' in 2018, the trance DJ and producer will debut the new album 'Guiding Light' on a 14-city North America tour.

Speaking on the album, van Dyk shared: “It’s always an aim to inspire others through music, and that’s my mission with my new album Guiding Light. I collaborated with some of the most talented up and coming artists in trance music over the past year, recording sessions across the world from my home studio in Berlin to hotel rooms in far corners of the globe.”

The MISSION: Guiding Light show and tour, which kicks off on the 31st October at Treehouse club in Miami, will see van Dyk visit Atlantic City, Chicago, New York and more, with the new show aiming "to motivate fans to follow their passion, live the truth and pursue their dreams".

Tickets for MISSION: Guiding Light go on sale this Friday 30th August.

Earlier this month, Paul van Dyk's wife took a PvD flag to the summit of the highest point in Europe.

Paul van Dyk announced his new label New Generation in April, an imprint which aims to focus on up-and-coming trance artists.
