Kurupt FM’s People Just Do Nothing is set for an EDM remake in the U.S.

From pirate radio in Brentford to EDM on the Las Vegas strip...

People Just Do Nothing – the BBC mockumentary series that first aired on BBC3 in 2014 – is reportedly being remade for the U.S..

Amazon are said to have commissioned a pilot for the new show, which will reportedly focus on EDM DJs trying to make it on the Las Vegas strip rather than UK garage and pirate radio.

The creators of the original People Just Do Nothing series – Hugo Chegwin, Steve Stamp, Asim Chaudhry and Allan Mustafa  – are said to be serving as executive producers on the U.S. remake.

There's no word yet on whether they will appear as Kurupt FM’s Grindah, Steves, DJ Decoy or Chabuddy G in the new series.
