Porter Robinson gave an upcoming producer $3,000 for a new computer

Porter Robinson has stepped up to support friend and fellow producer Shadient when the latter’s nine year old computer “fully died”. The $3,000 ($US) gift will help the producer buy a new studio computer and complete an album.
The pair’s friendship dates back several years. Shadient worked up an experimental remix of Robinson’s ‘Fellow Feeling’ back in 2015. Shadient is also signed to Mad Zoo, the imprint of fellow Robinson buddy Mat Zo.
In a response to REZZ, Shadient also hinted that he is close to finishing an official remix of the standout ‘Relax’ single.
The rising producer is quite earnest about his current work: “It won’t be the best album anyone has ever made, it will be the best music I have ever made.”
