PRIMAVERA SOUND REVEAL APHEX TWIN, THE XX & FRANK OCEAN FOR 2017 FESTIVAL
Barcelona, here we come!
Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona will be headlined by Aphex Twin, Frank Ocean and The XX next year, with the event running 31st May through 4th June 2017.
They’ll be joined by Arcade Fire, Bon Iver and Flying Lotus on the five-day festival’s line-up, alongside electronic acts including Innervisions boss Dixon, Irish duo Bicep, techno don Recondite, UK selector Joy Orbison and Bulgarian DJ KiNK, among others.
Primavera Sound’s first edition took place in 2001 in Poble Espanyol and then moved to the Parc del Fòrum in 2005 — a much larger site along the sea. The festival’s established home of Parc del Fòrum will host the largest part of the festival, with additional pop-ups, talks and afterparties dotted around Barcelona. The much-loved Spanish festival has previously hosted Richie Hawtin, LCD Soundsystem and DJ Koze and is set to welcome nearly a whopping 200 acts to its stages in 2017.
