Promoter cancels three Mad Decent Block Party dates

MDBP will no longer hit Mumbai, Hyderabad or New Delhi in March...

Mad Decent Block Party was due to host Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, Nucleya and more for three dates in India next month (March), but over the weekend the event’s promoter announced the shows would no longer be going ahead.

Speaking in a statement on Facebook on Saturday (18th February), events company Oji said the dates are cancelled because they can’t “host Mad Decent Block Party in the exact style with which we envisioned (sic).”

MDBP was due to hit India for three dates in Mumbai, Hyderabad and New Delhi between 3rd and 5th March. You can see the full post below.

Mad Decent boss Diplo also dropped an old school influences radio show over the weekend (Sunday 19th February), as part of his BBC Radio 1Xtra show, which included throwback tracks from Carnage, N*E*R*D, Missy Elliott and Diplo himself.
