Rane announce new battle mixer Seventy

It's an updated version of the wildly popular Seventy-Two mixer

Rane have announced a new battle mixer, the Seventy. An update to their ultra-popular Seventy-Two mixer, the new Seventy features a new lighter, MAG Four crossfader and an external crossfader tension adjust, independent pad modes for each channel across the 32 MIDI-assignable pads, six internal FLEX effects and Serato DJ FX control, browse, load and transport control buttons and new instant double buttons.

The FX ‘paddles’ have returned, allowing quick triggering and release of FX – moving the paddle up will lock the effect – while the EQ and filter section has been redesigned to be more in line with Pioneer DJ’s S9 mixer. Rane have also done away with the larger screen, opting for a smaller OLED option and there are dual USB connectors for Serato handovers or b2bs. The new Mag Faders are significantly lighter and Rane are going to be selling the faders individually if you want to upgrade.

Rane have partnered with turntablist legend DJ Craze for the release – check out the new routine below. The new mixer costs $1,499 and is available Q2 2020.
