RBMA ANNOUNCES OPTIMO AND MORE FOR NEW PARIS FEST

Red Bull Music Academy returns to the French capital...

Red Bull Music Academy has shared details of a new, week-long Parisian city festival launching on 19th September.

The event will take in venues across the French capital, including RBMA’s previous base of operations La Gaîté Lyrique, where Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore and Stephen O’Malley of Sun O))) fame will perform together on 20th September, along with Diagonal boss Powell and noise band Sister Iodine. Elsewhere ClekClekBoom’s Manaré will play alongside his father, Siriac, and brother, Marvy, at The Titan; Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker will be taking over the decks at Chez Moune; and there’ll be a hefty night at La Trabendo with Palms Trax, Xosar, Paranoid London (live) and a three-way back-to-back from Livity Sound lads Kowton, Peverelist and Tessela.

Closing out the festival on 24th September, Badaboum will play host to Insanlar (live), Baris K and Glasgow’s favourite sons Optimo.
