RBMA SUSPENDED FOLLOWING PARIS BOMBINGS

Red Bull cancels shows and lectures in the French capital

Red Bull Music Academy has suspended some of its events following the Paris attacks on Friday evening.

Shows and lectures have been postponed following recommendations from French security authorities, which advised venues to close indefinitely around the city.

Original events scheduled included a public lecture by Jean Michel Jarre, plus a live performance from Nozinja and a ballroom party with Vjuan Allure and Teki Latex.

This year's RBMA headquarters are situated close to one of the attack sites, positioned only a short distance from the Bataclan concert venue where 89 people were killed.

Les InRocks reporter William B Decherf and Mercury Records’ product manager Thomas Ayadhave were among those killed during the attack on the live music venue on Friday night.

More information on the updated RMBA schedule can be found here.
