RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY TO HOST DEPARTURE LOUNGE PARTY IN HACKNEY

RBMA to throw send-off for UK participants on 22nd October.

The annual Red Bull Music Academy kicks off in Paris this October and the energy drink giant is set to throw a massive send-off for its UK participants.

In a one-off cultural exchange featuring French and UK DJs playing back-to-back, six unique acts will spin across the course of the evening, that's set to run 22nd October at The Arch Gallery in Hackney, London.

First up, Hoya:Hoya don and 2010 Red Bull Music Academy alumni, Illum Sphere joins Class of 2008 beatmaker Onra for a special performance.

Next, Alexander Nut will go B2B with Parisian selector Jeremy Underground, before Cold Tonic boss Krystal Klear joins forces with fellow alumni and funk wizard, Kool Clap.

Representing the UK at this year's RBMA are participants Corey K, Emma-Jean Thackray, and Hyroglifics, who'll join 58 other producers from around the world.

Best bit of all? The send-off event is 100% free but it's first come first served. Get it in the diary!
