Masked maestro Redshape has announced a new set of EPs celebrating a decade of live performance.
Kicking off with a two-tracker inspired by shows in Tel Aviv and Rome, ‘Best Of Live Vol.1’ will arrive via Gerd Janson’s Running Back imprint, with subsequent volumes to drop via other labels Redshape has a close connection to.
Speaking to RA, Redshape says the series is "a special thank you to the labels I worked with over the past ten years, and also to all the people on the world's dance floors."
Each track is built from “previously unavailable and not even arranged” works from the German producer’s live sets. “I searched for the moment in which each of those tracks had their biggest and also earliest impact,” he explains. “I took that recording and rebuilt them part-by-part to make them proper DJ versions without losing their live roots."
‘Best Of Live Vol.1’ is scheduled to drop 5th August.
