Roni Size celebrates 20th anniversary of 'New Forms' at Miranda

Two decades of the Mercury Prize-winning album...

Roni Size will mark two decades since the release of his critically acclaimed album 'New Forms' at Miranda at the Ace Hotel in London on Monday 11th September.

Released by Reprazent — a drum & bass band formed by Size, featuring a collection of producers, vocalists and live instrumental musicians — the album won the Mercury Prize in 1997.

Kicking off at 7pm, the event is the first of Classic Album Sundays' new Comtemporary Classics series.

The evening will see Roni discuss the LP and its legacy in an interview hosted by Boiler Room's Chief Programmer Gabriel Szatan, before attendees are treated to a playback of the album on Classic Album Sundays' audiophile-quality soundsystem provided by Audio Note UK. For more information and tickets head here.

Roni Size recently took over our DJ Mag HQ live stream for a set of pure fire d&b both old and new, watch his full session here.

And just because we can't resist an opportunity to post this tune, here's 'New Forms' track 'Brown Paper Bag'...
