Skrillex reveals more new music is on the way

This week will see him go into the studio to develop some recent DJ tools...

Skrillex has taken to Twitter to update fans on plans for new music.

Posting earlier today, he said that he would be taking some time this week to go into the studio and develop some recent DJ tools that he's been playing in sets, "finishing / mixing them into real songs". He added that he's "gunna pump em out quick".

The OWSLA boss has been teasing new music for a while now both produced by himself and alongside Boys Noize, with whom he's been playing select shows again this year as Dog Blood. Last month, a new Dog Blood EP - 'Turn Off The Lights' - finally dropped, shortly after the duo teased its release with a mixtape.

It remains to be seen exactly when we can expect new Skrillex music to emerge, but with news that he's keeping busy in the studio, it shouldn't be too long.

Last month, Skrillex released a new remix for Kelsy Lu's track, 'Due West', while earlier this month, he and Boys Noize announced plans for collectable action figurines.
