Celebrating a decade of Rewire

Rewire festival has revealed the second wave of acts joining its 2020 line-up.

Now in its 10th year, Rewire, which takes place in The Hague, will run from the 3rd - 5th April at venues across the city.

Joining previously announced acts such as Jon Hopkins and Hyperdub's Loraine James, 2019 DJ Mag cover star SOPHIE joins the bill, alongside Venezuelan musician Arca, and another Hyperdub affiliate, Lee Gamble.

Other performances will also come courtesy of 33EMYBW, who has released on Shanghai's SVBKVLT imprint, Bbymutha, Beatrice Dillon, Nazira, and Wume.

Loraine James' full-length debut via Hyperdub, 'For You And I', was DJ Mag's No. 1 album of 2019.

Shanghai’s pioneering SVBKVLT label is creating a bold new future for electronic and club music, spearheading a movement inspired as much by Chinese tradition as avant-garde noise. DJ Mag met some of the crew in London to talk global links, the influence of Hyperdub, and musical freedom.
