Steinberg release Cubase 10: Watch

The long-running DAW hits double figures...

Steinberg have announced Cubase 10, the newest version of the long-running music making software. The latest version mainly looks at tweaking existing features such as adding updating their version of Melodyne-style pitch editing VariAudio to version three, drumming plugin Groove Agent to version five, a new simplified sidechaining and an audio alignment function that automatically lines up transients.

Steinberg have also re-designing the built-in channel strips they introduced in Cubase 8, Chord Pads to help with quick composition, an updated version of their classic analogue synth model Retrologue and new comping options.

There's also a general GUI update and a new distortion plugin called Distroyer, as well as a new drag-and-drop function for plugs. The download version of Cubase 10 Pro is available now and costs £480.
