Steve Angello drops two new tracks, 'Rejoice' and 'Breaking Kind': LISTEN

From his upcoming album 'Almost Human'...

Steve Angello is set to release two brand-new songs today (Friday 4th August) titled ‘Breaking Kind’ and ‘Rejoice’.

The two tracks are the first of several songs that will be released monthly, from Steve Angello’s upcoming album ‘Almost Human’ that’s due out later this year via Kobalt.

The album will be released in three parts that supposedly signify different stages of the ex-Swedish House Mafia member's life, including Act I - Genesis, Act ll - Inferno, and Act lll - Paradiso.

On the new music, Steve says: "’Rejoice’ is the most powerful piece of music I've ever created. It isn't a written record to fill a void or accomplish status - this is pure motivation, inspiration and honesty expressed by an incredible bishop that changed me completely. I've never done anything like it and I've never worked with words that meant more in my entire career. This record is ground-breaking for me as an individual. It came into my life when I needed it the most and I had to make that moment last forever by immortalizing it.

"‘Breaking Kind’ is one of my favourite songs of the album. The genius song melody, writing and performance floored me first time I heard it. It represents the soundtrack of my life, melodically and musically it hits every emotion I have for display. It moves me into melancholy happiness, while delivering the highest form of nostalgia."

Fans will be able to receive the songs automatically each month through Steve's streaming subscription on Spotify.

‘Rejoice’ and ‘Breaking Kind’ follow Steve Angello’s 2016 debut solo album ‘Wild Youth’, which was released on his own label SIZE Records.

As usual, rumours of a Swedish House Mafia reunion are still rife, with the group's management consistently denying a comeback is in the works.
