Steve Aoki and Kid Cudi have teamed up on two brand new tracks, both of which appear on the latter's latest album, 'INSANO (NITRO MEGA)'. Listen to 'Electrowavebaby 2.0' and 'I Just Wanna Get', which features Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, below.

Aoki famously remixed Cudi's 'Pursuit of Happiness' back in 2009. The remix was featured in the comedy movie Project X, and was later nominated for Best Song in a Movie at the MTV Movie Awards. The two linked up again in 2011, alongside Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, on the single, 'Cudi the Kid'.

Speaking about his guest production on these new tracks in an Instagram post, Aoki said: "Happy release day to my brother @kidcudi on his album INSANO (NITRO MEGA)! Honored to have two songs on it. Scott thank you for always allowing me to be a part of your creative world. I still am in complete awe that I have a record with Bone Thugs and Harmony & Cudi. ELECTROWAVEBABY 2.0 is a movement we are continuing from my remix of Pursuit of Happiness."

Cudi's new album also features appearances from Wiz Khalifa, King Chip, Pusha T, Lil Yachty, Layzie Bone, and Krayzie Bone.

Last November, Aoki dropped his guest-packed tenth album, 'HiROQUEST: Double Helix,' which featured the likes of Akon, Paris Hilton, Timmy Trumpet, and more. The LP was described as an extension of the "genre-expanding" universe he introduced on 2022 album 'HiROQUEST'.

In other Aoki news, he also appeared as a musical guest on Disney+'s The Muppets Mayhem series in 2023 and curated a vinyl-only hardcore compilation with French artist Richard Orlinski.

Aoki was recently interviewed in DJ Mag's original documentary celebrating 30 years of the Top 100 DJs poll. Watch that here.
