STUDIO 338 SET TO REOPEN, WHILE ORGANISERS ANNOUNCE NEW VENUE

Club releases on statement on its future...

After the devastating fire at Studio 338, which sadly saw one man lose his life, the club's owners have released statement via Facebook stating that the terrace section of the club will reopen soon.

As well as reopening the terrace, the owners are planning to announce a new east London venue with that announcement expected this week, too.

“Right now London needs us all to fight for the right to party and to support and love each other in the face of adversity,” reads the statement. “We hope to play a big part in bringing the cities nightlife back to being one of the very best in the world.”

“In the meantime we would like to thank you all for your support of the fundraising drive for Tomas. You managed to donate £9,636 (almost 200% of target) which we are pleased to say we will match...this will really help to take some of the pressure from his family at this difficult time.”

There’s going to be a special Sankeys Ibiza loves 338 show at KOKO on Saturday 17th September to help raise funds for the Terrace’s reopening  and whilst no line-up has been announced it promises to a special night for all involved.

“We will be throwing a very special Sankeys loves Studio 338 event with all proceeds going towards the reopening of the venue and also to contribute towards the fund 338 have started for Tomas's family back home in Lithuania.”
