SUCHI has announced a new EP, ‘Birdy Bell’, via Ghostly’s Spectral Sound label.

The Oslo-born, Manchester-based DJ and producer will debut on the Michigan-based imprint with a four-track EP, out on 14th July. You can listen to the title track below.

Described as “exhibiting her potent hybrid sound”, the tape reaches across prog, house, and techno, drawing on flavours from all the places SUCHI has lived – Oslo, London, Delhi, New York, and Manchester. ‘Birdy Bell’ also features a punchy remix by Miami’s Nick León.

The project follows SUCHI’s 2022 EP, 'Seher / Lykke' released via Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce label, as well as last year’s appearance on the ‘HeForShe x femme culture Vol. 3’ compilation alongside the likes of Ayesha and Moktar, in partnership with the UN Women UK.

Back in October 2022, SUCHI also recorded a “deep, percussive, bassy and hypnotic selection with touches of euphoria” for DJ Mag’s Fresh Kicks mix series, which you can check out here, alongside an interview with Tara Joshi.
