Tale of Us member Anyma, AKA Matteo Milleri, has teamed up with Grimes for a new single. You can hear 'Welcome to The Opera' below.
Taken from the forthcoming debut album by Anyma, the track is the result of a busy collaborative period for the pair. Brought together through a shared passion for futurism and multidisciplinary art, fans of both have already had a taster of their joint efforts at recent live shows in New York and Ibiza.
The single itself is indicative of Anyma's sound, rooted in progressive house and rolling, atmospheric techno. Arriving with an official video, the clip — produced by Milleri — takes viewers into the vivid and now-iconic visual world he has become known for, combining digital fine art with 3D animation.
Already a centrepiece of events hosted by Afterlife, the label and globetrotting club series run by Tale of Us, the visuals have also been used to support a string of past releases. These include Anyma's Chris Avantgarde collaboration 'Eternity' from February this year, and the pair's preceding effort, 'Consciousness', which received a remix from Eric Prydz last summer.
