A teenager has died over the bank holiday weekend after reportedly taking a ‘MasterCard’ ecstasy pill whilst attending the Don’t Let Daddy Know event at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse.

Faye Allen, 17, from Liverpool died yesterday (Monday 2nd May) after allegedly having an adverse reaction to the ecstasy tablet at the event in Trafford on Sunday 1st May. Police are believed to have arrived at the venue at around 5am, before Allen later passed away in hospital.

The death prompted police to issue a warning about the pink ‘MasterCard’ ecstasy pills photographed above. Detective Inspector Helen Bell said, “We are appealing to anyone who may have taken this form of ecstasy, known as ‘MasterCard’, to get checked out urgently. Even if you took it some hours ago, this pill will still be in your system and could be seriously harming your health.”

Two arrests have been made in connection to the death, with a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old woman both reportedly being held on suspicion of possession with intent to supply of a Class A drug.
