Tidal, the streaming service started by JAY Z and company, recently introduced the “Track Edit” feature for its iOS and Android apps that allows users to change the tempo and length of tracks.
To make tempo modifications, you will need to select a segment of a song before you alter it. The tool also allows you to make changes to how the song fades in and out. Subsequently, edited songs can be saved and listened to in new or existing playlists.
Though Tidal hasn’t released any further info about the new feature, you can think of this tool as the key to unleashing your inner DJ.
