Set on a Welsh permaculture farm

Timedance boss Batu is curating a new festival in 2020, En Masse.

The Bristol-based UK techno and bass don is taking charge of programming for the small capacity event, which will take place close to Abergavenny, Wales, running 12th - 14th June next year, with the intention of offering something "different to a lot of the more corporate operations we are all used to."

Set on a 140-acre permaculture farm at the foot of the Black Mountains — one of the United Kingdom's most beautiful areas — we know nothing of the line-up yet, but music will move from stage to stage for two days and nights, avoiding any chance of artist clashes. A similar format is used at events such as Terraforma, held outside a palatial villa north west of Milan.

Batu's label, Timedance, carried a new EP from Air Max '97 this year, which followed the artist's contribution to DJ Mag's Recognise mix series. To keep updated on En Masse news, head for the official website
