Tiësto and Paul van Dyk are the most travelled musicians of all time

They beat Bob Dylan, Metallica and Aerosmith to the title...

Tiësto and Paul van Dyk are the most travelled musicians of all time, according to new figures from TravelBird.

The two DJ/producers topped the poll above the likes of Bob Dylan, Metallica, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones and many more.

The total travel distance for each artist was calculated by taking into account all national, continental and world tours from the beginning of their careers.

You can see the figures below, which show Tiësto has travelled to the moon and back 6.52 times throughout his career, whilst Paul van Dyk is just behind at 6.02 times.

Van Dyk did have to take an extended break from touring after falling off the stage at an A State Of Trance (ASOT) event in Utrecht in February last year though.
