TNGHT share video for ‘Gimme Summn’: Watch

The animated visual is directed by Canadian filmmaker Cole Kush

TNGHT have shared a new video for ‘Gimme Summn’.

The surreal visual is directed by Canadian filmmaker and animator Cole Kush, who describes it as a "cute and desperate story about eternal recurrence." The video sees animated versions of TNGHT, a project between Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, journey through everyday life, starting off as babies before transforming into old men.

Speaking about the video, Lunice said: “I’m a fan of Cole’s sharp colours and 3D animation style that give me this sense of uneasiness and confusion, all while keeping me on the edge of my seat with curiosity.” Mohawke added that he "wanted to see Julian Assange as a centaur.”

The video follows the release of TNGHT’S ‘II’ EP on Warp Records and news of their first live shows in six years, which includes a sold out date at Village Underground in London.
