Touching Bass is hosting a concert featuring Anaiis and Astrønne at the Barbican.

The club night, record label, NTS Radio show and curatorial/creative studio helmed by Errol and Alex Rita has teamed up with the London venue to showcase the two artists' R&B, soul and folk experimentations. Anaiis will headline the 9th September event held at the venue's the Milton Court Concert Hall, with Astrønne supporting.

“We’ve witnessed some truly timeless gigs at the Barbican and its associated spaces over the past few years and it’s always been a dream to curate our own special moments within one of our most-loved venues,” said Touching Bass in a statement.

“When the Barbican approached us, we strongly felt that this opportunity should be used to platform some of our most talented friends as much as our bucket-list favourites. It feels like a natural evolution of what we’ve been doing to date and we can’t wait to bring the energy of our shows and club nights into this world-renowned space, making our people feel at home within it.”

French-Senegalese soloist Anaiis is set to perform work from her 2021 debut album ‘This Is No Longer A Dream’.

Tickets (see here) for the concert go on sale to Barbican Patrons at 8AM BST on Wednesday, 24th May. The Barbican Members sale follows two hours later at 10AM BST. Touching Bass' promoter pre-sale opens at 10AM BST on Thursday, 25th May, while the general sale begins at 10AM on Friday, 26th May. Prices start at £20 excluding booking fees.
