Two hospitalised after stabbings at Mexico’s Esto Es Tulum festival

The incident took place on Monday (6th)

Two people have been hospitalised after an incident at Mexico's Esto Es Tulum festival.

The two victims, who were reportedly attacked by local cartel members after being mistaken for drug dealers, were taken to hospital from the ANTS Party at Cenote Casa Tortuga.

One of those attacked has been left in critical condition after recieving stab wounds to the neck, with no update on the other victim at the time of this article.

The ANTS party was taking place during Esto Es Tulum festival, which began on the 27th December and will finish on the 11th January. There was another event due to take place on Tuesday (7th), and was subsequently cancelled in light of the attacks.
