Ultra Miami ticketholders will not be refunded following the 2020 festival's ‘postponement’. 

An announcement via email was made earlier today by organisers, who have offered would-be-attendees a number of alternative options instead of a simple money-back arrangement. These include honouring passes for either the 2021 or 2022 editions of the event — with 30 days notice given for people to decide which they would prefer to attend. 

A 'value package' has also been added to the deal, which will involve an exclusive main stage performance before gates open officially next year — solely for those who were to attend this time round. Discounts for a new 'premium' General Attendance upgrade, bringing the price down significantly from $599.95 to $99.95, is also available for next year. 

Other offers include one free pass to Ultra Worldwide or Resistance events for 2021, excluding Miami, 50% off Ultra merchandise (up to the value of $250), and the chance to buy two additional passes to Miami 2021 at a discounted price for each 2020 ticket purchased. Here are the full details: 

Ultra Music Festival Miami 2020 was postponed last week amid mounting fears relating to the coronavirus. The organisation's Abu Dhabi event was also pulled for public health reasons. Miami Winter Music Conference, SXSW, Tomorrowland Winter and Beat Hotel Morocco are among the other events to be cancelled or postponed in an attempt to curb the spread of the illness, with France introducing a ban on public gatherings of more than 1,000 people.
