Ultra to relaunch Miami Winter Music Conference on Miami Beach

The original industry gathering is back...

Ultra is to relaunch Miami Winter Music Conference (WMC) on Miami Beach next spring.

The event, which is set to kick off Miami Music Week, will run from 25th to 28th March 2019, and will be the 34th edition of the annual industry gathering.

WMC will welcome professionals alongside consumers with an interest in production, DJing, management, tech, dance and club culture. Organisers are promising enthusiasts and hopefuls access to showcases from some of the biggest names in the sector.

The Conference was first launched in 1985, and grew to become the go-to industry event, with huge tracks unveiled, business links forged and friendships and partnerships cemented, as our interview with Blond:ish proves. It was announced in March that Ultra had acquired the brand

"We’ve reached a major point in the evolution of WMC. Attendees will experience expertly curated panels with key music professionals, cutting edge mixers, mentorship moments, and endless opportunities to share up-to-the-minute technology in an exceptionally beautiful and blissful setting, the Faena District," said Bill Kelly, Co-Founder of WMC.

"For decades, the electronic music industry ran through WMC," added Russell Faibisch, Ultra's Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO. "It was where the mega deals were done and provided a launching point for countless legendary tracks as well as breakthrough DJs. In March 2019, WMC returns with a fully revamped program that gets the industry back to business. It’s the perfect start to an unforgettable Miami Music Week."
