The UK duo of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith performed new music live for the first time at Bristol venue The Marble Factory on Sunday, 19th March. The 15-track set featured four live debuts: 'Gene Pool', 'Strawberry Hotel', 'Denver Luna' and 'And The Colour Red', which features in the video below, according to Setlist.FM via NME.

The Bristol show was announced in the lead-up to Underworld's Monday, 20th March, charity concert at Royal Albert Hall in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. The Setlist.FM page for that gig also includes the four new tracks.

Adding to the atmosphere that a new Underworld release announcement is imminent, the duo's Instagram account has been scrubbed of all past posts. It now features three new posts uploaded within the last 24 hours, all captioned "underworld 2023".

This summer, Underworld are set for more UK performances at Junction 2 festival and Secret Garden Party.
