Virgil Abloh memorial festival announces line-up

Skepta, Yves Tumor, Bambii and many more are set to perform

Mirror Mirror Festival Virgil Abloh

Mirror Mirror Festival, which has been established in tribute to the late-Virgil Abloh, has confirmed its line-up.

The one-day event, which takes over the FPL Solar Amphitheatre at Miami's Bayfront Park on Saturday 3rd December, will be headlined by Travis Scott and Skepta. Yves Tumor, Bambii, Rampa, Benji B, Acyde, Pedro and Venus X are also on the bill.

Set up by Virgil Abloh Securities, the company established by Abloh before he died from cancer 2021 — a disease he had lived with privately for a number of years — all net profits will go to the Virgil Abloh Foundation. The organisation aims to foster equity and inclusion in the fashion industry through scholarships for Black students, reflecting the career of its founding father and namesake.

In addition to occasionally DJing and making music videos and artwork for the likes of Pop Smoke, Westside Gunn, and Lil Uzi, Abloh was primarily a designer, and worked as artistic director at Louis Vuitton menswear, and launching his own Off-White brand.

Mirror Mirror will be one of the first performances from Scott since the Astroworld tragedy claimed 10 lives last November. Organisers lost control of entrance gates, leading to a crowd crush inside the event, with almost 5,000 people injured as a result
