WATCH ADE’S 2016 DOCUMENTARY WITH EATS EVERYTHING, OCTAVE ONE, ELLEN ALLIEN, MORE: EXCLUSIVE

Perspective will make you long for October...

Perspective is the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) documentary commissioned by the festival featuring Eats Everything, Octave One, Ellen Allien, Sjamsoedin and more, all talking about their experiences at the event. You can watch the exclusive play of the film below.

The documentary features Dan Pearce, aka Eats Everything, talking about his experience at the Dutch festival,  saying “I’ve actually learned stuff. When can you say that about going to raves?” As well as Octave One talking about the process behind their live show, which they performed at Awarkenings at Amsterdam’s Gashouder.

ADE took over the Dutch capital for five days between Wednesday 19th and Sunday 23rd October, for one of the biggest weekends of electronic music on the annual calendar.

Over 2,200 artists played more than 450 events across 120 of the best clubs, bars and venues in the city, as a relentless barrage of the world’s best parties all took place en masse. DJ Mag staff were on hand to sample the best of the events, and compiled 41 massive tracks from ADE.

Martin Garrix was also revealed as the winner of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll 2016 on the opening night of ADE, with the 20-year-old Dutch superstar becoming the youngest ever No.1 DJ. Garrix was awarded the No.1 trophy at the Top 100 DJs poll award ceremony at the Heineken Music Hall.
