A new documentary exploring club closures in Britain’s capital...

Bigger Than Fabric, a new documentary exploring club closures in London, has been released online by Why Wot Why Films.

The film, which features Irvine Welsh, Bill Brewster, Sacha Lord-Marchionne, Kate Simko, DEBONAIR and a host of experts from harm reduction to club promotion, was directed by Wayne Holloway.

Subtitled “last chance saloon for London’s club culture”, Bigger Than Fabric shines a light on issues around night culture in Britain’s capital city.

London’s nightlife has been under scrutiny since fabric was closed after its license was revoked by Islington Council last month (October). The Farringdon venue is now set to reopen after a deal was struck with the Metropolitan Police and Islington council at Highbury Magistrates Court on Monday (21st November).
