The new Donna Summer documentary, Love to Love You, is out now on HBO and Sky.

The 107-minute documentary is directed by the late disco legend's daughter Brooklyn Sudano and Academy Award winner Roger Ross Williams. It's framed as "a personal portrait of Summer on and off the stage", featuring never-before-seen home footage and new interviews with Summer' family conducted by Sudan.

“When you think your family is one thing and you’re getting this new information that the dynamic was completely different, it shakes you,” Sudano said in a new interview with the Independent. “In this film, you’re watching a family have a conversation for the first time about things that are difficult to talk about,” Williams added.

A number of Donna Summer's personal possessions will go up for online auction on 15th June by Christie's, Pitchfork reports. The items were collected from her Nashville home, which she lived in at the time of her death in 2012 at age 63 after being diagnosed with lung cancer. The collection includes costumes, RIAA Gold 45s, candid Polaroids and handwritten lyrics. All proceeds will go to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Save the Music Foundation and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
