Lisbon Kid is a new collaborative project from ‘Touch Me’ hitmaker Rui Da Silva and fellow Portuguese producer Danny De Matos. The pair’s self-titled debut album, out next month, sees them branching into new territory with Balearic-inspired, downtempo grooves.
Speaking of the new direction, Rui De Silva said: “After so many years producing music for clubs at 4am, it was really exciting to embark on this new project and be able to explore other sonics, BPM’s and escape the limits of dance floormusic.”
‘Sunburst’, which we’re premiering today, is a laid-back ambient cut that mixes electronica and acoustic instrumentation. Take a listen below.
‘Lisbon Kid’ is out 22nd April on Wall Of Sound.
