Massive Attack kicked off the 21st anniversary tour of their 1998 album 'Mezzanine' in Glasgow this week.

Taking to the city's SSE Hydro, the band were joined on stage by Cocteau Twins' Elisabeth Fraser, and played 'Angel', 'Teardrop', 'Black Milk', 'Dissolved Girl' and a cover of Velvet Underground, 'I Found A Reason'.

The band recently announced they would be collaborating with cult documentary maker and 'HyperNormalisation' director Adam Curtis on visuals for the ‘Mezzanine XX1' tour.

Of the partnership, Curtis said: "The show tells the story of the strange journey we have all been on over the past twenty years since 'Mezzanine' was released.”

Massive Attack recently released an app which allowed you to record your own reworkings of the classic album.
