Watch a new documentary about the company that presses your ashes to vinyl

And Vinyly has been pressing the deceased’s ashes into wax since 2010, and now the company is the subject of a new documentary. You can watch it below.

The film, titled Hearing Madge, follows the story John Hobson, who chose to have his mother’s ashes pressed into a vinyl cut with recordings of her voice.

The company, owned by Jason Leach, has the tagline ‘life from beyond the groove’ and offers music lovers a sonic memory of the deceased.
