WIN TICKETS TO RENAISSANCE’S RETURN AT THE STEELYARD

Legendary imprint returns with a new Art Department compilation...

Renaissance is back with brand-new compilation mixed by Art Department.

The legendary label, events brand and all-round music institution is now back in the safe hands of original founder Geoff Oakes.

Founded in 1994, Renaissance has been a permanent fixture in dance music’s lexicon until it fell off the map in 2010.

Well, it’s now back and touting a new compilation, dubbed ‘Renaissance The Mix Collection: Art Department’, which has been mixed by none other than Art Department

Though starting life as a duo, Jonny White is now the lone force behind the genre-transcending game-changer. “I decided to step away from what I’m currently playing on tour and program something that was going to really work at home,” explains Jonny White. “I really tried to focus on curating a deep, classy mix with no expiry date.”

The album, which will be in 2xCD and digital formats will be available in June, alongside one of Renaissance’s world renowned parties on May 21st at London's Steelyard.

The Steelyard is the closest venue to the legendary The Cross where Renaissance’s residency was the stuff of legend, set in the heart of the City of London set across 3 railway arches beneath Cannon Street Bridge it has an intimate capacity of just 800.

We’re giving away 2 pairs of tickets to the launch party with Art Department headlining, and support from Chaim, Samu.I and August Artier.
