Wu-Tang announce 2024 Las Vegas residency

Wu-Tang Clan have been confirmed for a new 2024 Las Vegas residency, beginning in the run up to the NFL Super Bowl.

The iconic hip-hop crew will take over the Theatre at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas for their shows early next year. Two performances entitled 'The Saga Continues... The Las Vegas Residency' have been announced, on 9th and 10th February.

Those dates are just days before the most watched sporting event in the US calendar kicks off at the Nevada city's Allegiant Stadium, with Usher confirmed for the headline halftime show. Another pair of Wu-Tang Las Vegas dates have already been dropped, 22nd and 23rd March, with The New York Times reporting more will be announced in the coming months.

“I’m in that spirit of loving where there’s a hub of art and then loving that I — in my talent and the Wu-Tang brothers — can add to that hub and of course eventually invite more hip-hop artists to come and play in this sandbox with us,” RZA told the Times.

Last month, Wu-Tang were honoured with an 'official day' in their home city of New York, with a special light display casting the Empire State Building in the crew's trademark colours and events held across the Big Apple. This followed the release of their brand new single, 'Claudine'.

More recently, Clan member Ghostface Killah announced the publication of his memoir, 'Rise of A Killah: My Life In The Wu-Tang.'
