Xhin drops raw, swinging techno on the DJ Mag Weekly Podcast

Singapore's techno don turns out a stomping mix...

Xhin finds the perfect balance between power and swing with his irresistable offering for our DJ Mag Weekly Podcast series.

Hailing from Singapore, Xhin — pronounced 'Sheen' — has been producing for two decades now, although it was during the mid-noughties that he made his name, becoming a favourite on Lucy's Stroboscopic Artefacts imprint.

The techno stalwarts latest effort comes from Singaporean label Midnight Shift, launching limited, three-release sub-label, Shift LTD, with a four-track EP of weighty, heavily textured club productions. (Grab a copy of the vinyl from the label's Bandcamp.)

Listen out for EP tracks such as futuristic opener 'Time Spiral' and gruff squelcher 'Fading Inward' in Xhin's podcast, alongside a host of other warped-yet-swinging techno stompers.
