Zedd to play drums at charity concert honouring Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington

EDM star will join up with the band on October 27th at Hollywood Bowl...

It’s a well-known fact that Zedd is a drummer of some distinction, having previously played alongside his brother as part of rock-metal group, Dioramic.

On the 27th October, the Russian-German producer is set to pick up the drumsticks once more, as he joins Linkin Park to celebrate the life of deceased band member, Chester Bennington.  Going down at California’s iconic Hollywood Bowl, the event is sure to prove a fitting tribute to a universally admired artist. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Music for Relief’s One More Light fund, a charity established in the wake of Bennington’s tragic passing.

Zedd’s collaboration with Linkin Park is far from the first time the band have sought out unusual collaborators, with Jay Z among those who they’ve famously worked alongside.

Zedd has also found time this year to launch a new set of headphones and win an MTV Music Video Award for his track, 'Stay'.
