The sound quality is not as good as Pioneer’s top-flight CDJ2000 decks.

A great deck that marks the times by removing the CD player.

Numark NS7 III

This controller is still a heavy piece of work.
Summary
Numark's NS7III is a fantastic controller that supersedes the previous incarnation with its three new full colour screens.

Pioneer DDJ SZ

Gripe
The control surface layout is bordering on cluttered and this is one big controller both in terms of size and price.
Summary
Pioneer's DDJ-SZ deserves its status as their flagship Serato controller, it is beautifully designed, packed to the gills with great features and offers great value for money for those who desire a CDJ layout and work-flow.

Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S8

Lovely high resolution colour screens and touch sensitive controls that work together to provide an ultra intuitive workflow plus a full-featured stand-alone four-channel mixer.
Gripe
There is very little to grumble about, but if pushed, no jog wheels.
Summary
A fantastic new work flow and features such as the colour screens and touch sensitive controls mean this controller is absolutely perfect for the modern DJ who likes to remix and mash-up tracks on the fly in their sets.
