Bournemouth grime label steps out on wax
Vinyl is an ever-growing medium, and an increasing amount of labels these days are opting to release on wax.
That goes for fledgling Bournemouth label It’s Foundation, too, who are prepping their first vinyl release — a much-anticipated collaboration between Trends and Neon Beats, with the B-side manned by Neffa-T and Habitat, who’s turned in a break-heavy, BBK-referencing hard hitter.
The forward-thinking label, started by a small group of close friends, aims to support local talent and push the sounds they love, and ‘FDN03’ uncovers all areas of the current grime scene, with metallic rhythms on ‘Show You’ contrasted by some exotic flavours on the flip.
