Bjork Goes Wild

Icelandic wonder to headline Wild in the Country

Bjork has been announced as headliner for this year's Wild in the Country festival. The mega star is set to play the main stage at the Renaissance event, which takes place on 5th July at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire. The singer, who counts such classic albums as 'Debut', 'Homogenic' and 'Medulla' in her repertoire, has collaborated with 808 State, LFO, Tricky and Timbaland, and experimented with various dance music forms like no other artist. Her distinctive, haunting voice has inspired adulation all over the world, and her performance at Wild in the Country is bound to be nothing less than spectacular.

She'll be supported by a fine cast of acts and DJs designed to get the party going in fine style, with everyone from Aussie d 'n' b dudes Pendulum, melodic techno kings Booka Shade, and Afro-beat/indie kids Foals, to DJ's DJ, Sasha, house heads Dixon and James Zabiela, and eclectic queen Annie Mac. Tickets are on sale now priced at £45+BF (early bird price) available from www.renaissance.com and www.seetickets.com. Be quick!
