DANIEL AVERY HELMS PHANTASY’S 50TH RELEASE

Two years after the hugely-acclaimed ‘Drone Logic’, Daniel Avery has made his return to Erol Alkan’s Phantasy for its 50th release.

Having just released a joint EP with Volte-Face as Rote - "club EPs with minimal fanfare and fuss” - Avery returns to exercise his solo moniker with ‘Sensation/Clear’.

Phantasy say the two-tracker offers a look into Avery’s “restless studio experimentation”, linking the track to artists like Alessandro Cortini and William Basinski, “in its ability to echo purposefully across vast halls, yet proving to be just as absorbing in more intimate circumstances”.

A year ago Avery launched his Divided Love party series, which he recently took all over the world, from Lisbon to New York and invited some stellar guests along to.
