WHO IS THE UK’S BEST DJ IN 2015?

Find out at our Best Of British party at Heaven tonight...

Voting in our annual Best of British poll is now complete! An essential landmark on the UK electronic music calendar, the results will be announced at our B.O.B party at London’s Heaven later tonight, and we need you there to celebrate with us — final tickets right here

The event will feature a headline set from the winner of the Best DJ category, who will be revealed during the awards ceremony at 11:30pm sharp.

The winner of this category will then spin an exclusive set for the Heaven crowd, before being joined by an incredible array of artists including Eli & Fur, Fabio & Grooverider, Jasper James, Jimmy Switch & GW Harrison, Kiwi, Leftfield (DJ Set), Sam Divine, Special Request, Steve Lawler, The Revenge, Tim Green and Weiss.

But who is the UK’s Best DJ? These are the candidates who could be playing the headline set at Heaven tonight!

BEN UFO

Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO has built up a reputation for his eclectic, wide-ranging sets: a beacon in a sea of (at times) homogenous techno. His Rinse FM show commands a dedicated following (please email in suggestions for fandom names UFOlogists? Benlievers? Bufo’s?) and for good reason too: you’re bound to come away having discovered something you’ve never heard of before each week.

EATS EVERYTHING

It’s crazy to think that Eats Everything was on the verge of giving up DJing a few years back. Thankfully, he took one last crack at it and the rest is history. In 2012, Eats won Best Breakthrough DJ and a year later he followed it up with Best DJ, capping off a meteoric rise for the Bristol selector.

BICEP

2015 has been one of Bicep’s busiest year’s to date. In the past 12 months, the Belfast duo, made up of Andy Ferguson and Matthew McBriar, have taken over The Warehouse Project, joined Disclosure on their Wild Life tour as well as holding a 13-week residency at XOYO.

SCUBA

After taking some time off from touring last year due to health issues, Scuba came back even stronger in 2015 with a jam-packed touring schedule that saw him play in Japan, Mexico, Australia and the US.

JAMIE JONES

Jamie Jones is still very much at the top of his game. In the past year, the Hot Creations boss was as much at home at festivals like Coachella and Manchester’s Parklife as his long-running annual Paradise party at DC10. Despite having made a name for himself many years back, Jones hasn’t rested on laurels.
